♥My dear friend Molly recently asked me to design a bluebird for her. She’s been wanting to get one tattooed for a while and I was honored to get to do it. Check it out, doesn’t it look great on her wrist?

David and I had the pleasure of participating in our buildings annual rooftop gallery show and party. I’ve been really drawn to using texture and pattern lately. The piece I created is titled Animal Instincts. Excuse the glare on the photo. This piece is for sale if you are so inclined!

I had the opportunity to do a little more pro-bono work Special Olympics Oregon through Bite of Oregon this summer. Bite of Oregon is an annual food, wine, and beer festival on the Portland waterfront. There are Iron Chef competitions, fabulous fare and lots of amazing entertainment. Special Olympics asked me if I would create some designs to be showcased and sold at the event for t-shirts, tote bags and wine holders. It was a blast making the designs, but the ultimate reward was both being able to contribute to a great event in support of Special Olympics and seeing my designs hanging in the booth being sold! So exciting.

The last, but certainly not least, wedding that I am posting for a while. I had SO VERY MUCH fun working on these wedding invites for Kelli and her fiance Rick in Grand Rapids, MI. They wanted western with a touch of whimsy. I think we’re all pleased as punch with how they turned out. If this wedding is even half the amount of fun it appears to be, guests are going to be talking about it for many years to come. Enjoy!

These bad boys have hit the streets and I’m so happy to share them with you. The couple and the invites couldn’t be more lovely! Sarah and Mike are going to have a fabulous wedding and I’m honored to have been a part of the aesthetic elements. Enjoy =)

Wedding season is in full swing. I have had the opportunity this year to work with double the couples and weddings that I worked with last year and have really enjoyed creating unique, personalized wedding suites for all of them. I will be posting 3 wedding designs this week and next. First up this week is the wedding of Ryan and Larissa. The happy couple will be getting married in Grand Rapids this September. Here is their lovebird inspired design set.
