Meet our new addition: Charlie! We’ve been wanting another dog for a long time, but were waiting for the right one. Charlie is 2 years old. He’s from a rescue. He is part King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and probably part chihuahua or papillion. He’s incredibly sweet and we’re so happy to have him be part of our little family….. now if only the Gypsy cat would agree.

Our New Addition
Saturday, May 5th, 2012A year of snacks!
Tuesday, April 17th, 2012David and I love to cook. Below is a round up of some favorite dishes from the last year……A few photos were of meals we enjoyed at restaurants, but most of them were made with love in our kitchen (most-likely while sharing a glass or two of vino.) ❤
My Best Friends Wedding
Sunday, March 25th, 2012The last couple of months have prompted an extra-exciting and for me, extra-special wedding design. Not only have I had the honor of designing wedding invites for my best friend, but also, I get to be the Matron of Honor in her upcoming wedding. These lovelies were near and dear to my heart. The first 3 photos are copyright of Sarah Mansell Photography. Enjoy!
Homemade gifts
Monday, February 13th, 2012I really do still think homemade gifts are the best…. This year has been full of handmade flowers, which you saw here I also love to make custom illustrations for folks, but can never seem to find the time. Luckily I was able to squeeze in an extra special painting over the last month.
This was just given to my best friend Sarah and her fiance John for a shower gift. This was so fun to make. David helped to paint Buddy the dog, pets are really hard for me. He also painted the Peacock from our wedding invites, which you saw here. What kinds of homemade gifts do you like to make?
Love Is In The Air ❤
Monday, February 6th, 2012There are lots of spring weddings right around the corner. I’ve been lucky enough to design a few for some fantastic couples. First up, Tiffany & Matt. I met Tiffany right after we moved to Portland. Strangely enough her wedding theme, down to the colors and all, was very very similar to mine! It was so fun to try to reinvent something that I was so close to. This time instead of the folk-art approach like we had for our wedding Tiff and Matt wanted a more elegant/classic design.
White Elephant Holiday Invite
Sunday, November 20th, 2011Fabric Flowers
Sunday, November 20th, 2011Just started making some fabric flowers from leftover scraps. They are so easy and fun and cute. They can easily be attached to a bobby pin, alligator clip or headband for a great new accessory. I think this will be the perfect stocking stuffer for the ladies and girls in my life this holiday season.

Good News. Bad News.
Thursday, November 3rd, 2011The good news is: I’ve been swamped with work, design, and life…
The bad news is: I’ve been swamped with work, design, and life…
Hopefully I’ll soon find a way to manage my spare seconds a little better in order to pop on here and post about said: work, design, and life….
In the meantime… enjoy this happy mashup of a recent tattoo design I created for my dear friend molly, accompanied by chevron..
