There are lots of spring weddings right around the corner. I’ve been lucky enough to design a few for some fantastic couples. First up, Tiffany & Matt. I met Tiffany right after we moved to Portland. Strangely enough her wedding theme, down to the colors and all, was very very similar to mine! It was so fun to try to reinvent something that I was so close to. This time instead of the folk-art approach like we had for our wedding Tiff and Matt wanted a more elegant/classic design.

Sunday, November 20th, 2011Fabric Flowers
Sunday, November 20th, 2011Just started making some fabric flowers from leftover scraps. They are so easy and fun and cute. They can easily be attached to a bobby pin, alligator clip or headband for a great new accessory. I think this will be the perfect stocking stuffer for the ladies and girls in my life this holiday season.

The bad news is: I’ve been swamped with work, design, and life…
Hopefully I’ll soon find a way to manage my spare seconds a little better in order to pop on here and post about said: work, design, and life….
In the meantime… enjoy this happy mashup of a recent tattoo design I created for my dear friend molly, accompanied by chevron..

Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011Bite of Oregon
Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011I had the opportunity to do a little more pro-bono work Special Olympics Oregon through Bite of Oregon this summer. Bite of Oregon is an annual food, wine, and beer festival on the Portland waterfront. There are Iron Chef competitions, fabulous fare and lots of amazing entertainment. Special Olympics asked me if I would create some designs to be showcased and sold at the event for t-shirts, tote bags and wine holders. It was a blast making the designs, but the ultimate reward was both being able to contribute to a great event in support of Special Olympics and seeing my designs hanging in the booth being sold! So exciting.
