Some of you already know, but it’s been a tough couple of weeks for my husband and I. Our little baby, Luna, our dachshund passed away. It was really unexpected and happened so quickly. We’ve been grieving her loss. As many of you know since we adopted her, she brought enormous joy to our lives. I mean, I even have a dachsie in my logo… helloooo…

Losing a pet is incredibly hard. I know if you are not a pet owner, you might think it’s not such a hardship…. but let me assure you, it’s one of the toughest things I’ve gone through in my life. She was a very important member of our small young family and will be dearly missed. She was my snuggle buddy, my night time blanket, and the most loving, caring little soul when I was having a tough day. Dogs are truly remarkable creatures and we were very blessed to spend time with her, even if not long enough. We miss you LuLu and your songs and kisses and toe biting… xoxo
